How the clues work
- Green means an exact match.
- Yellow means close: within 2 seasons, 1 honor or 3 rating points.
- An arrow (↑ or ↓) shows whether the mystery player's number is higher or lower than your guess.
- ? means that detail isn't on file for the mystery player. Ohio and Miami (OH) players mostly have program, position, seasons and honors only.
- Honors counts national awards plus All-American selections.
The player pool is … notable players from all three programs: award winners, All-Americans and season stat leaders. The daily puzzle is the same for everyone each day and is drawn from players with enough clues to be fair (a known position or at least one honor); practice uses the whole pool and is unlimited.
